MAY MEMORIES
After a week of working hard on testing, first graders enjoyed well-deserved afternoons full of fun, laughter, and creativity! The classroom and playground turned into a giant “fun factory” with activities for everyone to enjoy.
Students showed great teamwork and friendly competition while playing cornhole and ping pong. There were lots of cheers, giggles, and a few “championship” celebrations mixed in too!
Inside, many students got creative with Play-Doh and clay, carefully designing animals, silly creatures, food creations, and tiny masterpieces.
Outside, the sidewalks were quickly covered in chalk drawings, games, and colorful designs. Bubbles floated through the air and students chased, popped, and laughed the afternoons away.
What a wonderful way to celebrate all of the hard work our students put into testing. I am so proud of their focus, effort, and positive attitudes. First grade definitely earned a little extra fun this week!
