The mission of St. James Day School is to educate students in a safe and nurturing environment that instills high intellect, character, and compassion—challenging them academically, physically, and spiritually to achieve their highest potential as confident individuals and future leaders.
St. James Day School is a private Christian school serving Pre-K through sixth grade, located on 25 acres of natural woodland in Texarkana, Texas. Learning takes place in five buildings on our beautiful campus as well as in the amphitheater and on the new St. James Nature Trail created by an alumnus.
St. James is fully accredited by the Southwest Association of Episcopal Schools, and is recognized by the National Association of Episcopal Schools, TANS (Texas Association of Non-public Schools) and the state of Texas.
We are affiliated with St. James’ Episcopal Church, and hold the annual Advent service there in December, as well as Sixth Grade Graduation and closing exercises in May or early June.
