how to apply for sjds

 

1.  Visit St. James

Families interested in enrolling a child should schedule a tour with the Parent Relations and Communications Advisor.

 

2. Submit an application for admission

Return a completed application, with the non-refundable application fee of $100 to the school office. This includes the cost of admissions testing if testing is necessary.

 

3. Be assessed or tested

  • Primary I and II – Bring student for a classroom visit and tour of the campus (if he/she has not already visited)

  • Pre-Kindergarten – Bring student for a campus tour and a basic assessment

  • Kindergarten – Bring student for a campus tour and a basic assessment

  • Grades 1-6 - Parents supply past report cards, standardized testing scores, any special services documentation, and teacher recommendations; bring student for any additional testing required

If the student is accepted, guardians will need to sign a contract, complete registration paperwork, and pay the $300 registration fee to reserve the student's space.
