Pumpkins, Pictionary, and a Great Start to November!

Our Pumpkin Patch festivities were a success! The 7th and 8th graders had the opportunity to share their original stories with our Primary and Pre-K students, which was such a fun part of the day. The little ones got to choose a mini-pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, take a walk down the spooky Trick-or-Treat Trail, and finish things off with games and face painting. There were lots of smiles, and I think everyone had a wonderful time!

Back in ELA, we've spent much of this week working on our Wordly Wise vocabulary. We've been mixing things up with a few review games, including Trashketball (yes, it's a real review game, I promise!) and Wordly Wise Pictionary. Let's just say I have some competitive students! We also played a review game of Blooket on Thursday to get ready for today's Wordly Wise Lesson 4 Test. Hopefully, all that practice pays off!

Looking ahead, Glow in the Dark Dodgeball is coming up next Friday, the 14th! If you're interested in putting a team together, please let me know. This event is a fundraiser for our 8th graders' trip to Washington, D.C., and we'd love to have your support.

All in all, we've had a fun and productive week, and November is off to a great start. I love seeing our students learning, participating, and making memories along the way!
