Spring Time
Caterpillars
This week, we welcomed some fuzzy, crawly friends into our classroom, truly engaging in the spirit of spring. We now have five caterpillars that we will observe as they progress through all stages of metamorphosis. This exciting addition has brightened our week with creativity, language development, and math skills. We are eagerly anticipating the moment these caterpillars transform into chrysalises and eventually into butterflies. By Monday, I believe all of them will be in their chrysalises!
Celebrate Learning: Building Unit
To conclude our building unit, the students took turns writing letters to their classmates and then mail them to one another using the classroom post office and mailbox. Each child had to make sure that they added a stamp to their letters before sending them. Once the stamps were added, the children could choose whether to mail their letters from the home mailbox or drop them off at the post office mailbox. We wrapped up the activity by opening the letters they had written to each other.
Spring Picnic
Who wouldn't love the opportunity to bask in this delightful spring weather? Both Primary classes took advantage of the beautiful day and enjoyed a picnic lunch on our playground.
