Spring is Here!

With Spring warming up the air, we have been taking our classes outside! Along with Badminton this month, we have been working on our running form. The students really enjoy running outside over running circles in the gym. Their endurance are improving and they are learning that it can be enjoyable running with a partner or with a group of friends. The goal is to expose our students to different ways of staying active, something they can carrying with them through their lives.

Students are working on their foot work. They are getting their knees up stepping through the rungs while using their arms to work on speed.

7th and 8th grade boys are working on their endurance while running and walking their laps. They are working on their form and breathing patterns.

7th and 8th grade girls are running while the boys are at tennis. They are also working on their footwork, endurance and breathing patterns while running the course around campus.
