Fourth Grade is off to a great start!
What a wonderful start to our school year! Our fourth graders have been busy learning new routines, building friendships, and settling into our classroom community.
We have also jumped into our novel study of Charlotte’s Web! 🕷️🐷 Students are already enjoying the adventures of Wilbur, Charlotte, Fern, and the other animals in the barn. We are using the story to strengthen reading comprehension, vocabulary, and language arts skills while having lots of fun along the way.
Just like the friendships in Charlotte’s Web, we are learning how important it is to be kind, helpful, encouraging, and a good friend. ❤️
We are so excited for all the learning, laughter, and memories ahead. It’s going to be a TERRIFIC fourth-grade year! 🕸️✨
🐷🕸️ Charlotte’s Web Science Fun! 🧪✨
Science was extra sweet in fourth grade today! We brought our Charlotte’s Web novel study to life by making Wilbur Juice using Sprite and sherbet! 🥤🐷Students had fun observing what happened when the sherbet was added to the Sprite. We watched the bubbles, fizzing, foaming, and changes in texture while discussing the science behind our tasty experiment.
